Galatians 5:16 gives us a simple instruction with a profound promise: walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Notice the order. God does not ask us to defeat the flesh first and then walk in the Spirit. He asks us to walk in the Spirit, and the victory over the flesh follows.
Walking is deliberate, daily, and unhurried. It is one step after another: a morning given to prayer, a decision submitted to God, a word of Scripture carried through the afternoon. The Spirit-led life is built in these small, consistent steps, not in occasional leaps.
Today, before you plan, pray. Before you speak, listen. The Holy Spirit is not a guest in the believer's life; He is the Guide. Give Him the lead, and watch your steps become sure.
