Isaiah 40:8 declares that the grass withers and the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. Everything around us is in motion: economies, opinions, even our own emotions. The Word of God is the one thing that does not move.
To stand on the Word means to let Scripture have the final say in every matter. The doctor's report is real, but the Word is final. The circumstances are loud, but the Word is louder. When you anchor your confession to what God has said, you stop being tossed by what you see.
Find a promise for your situation, write it down, and speak it daily. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will not pass away. Build there, and you build on rock.
